Membership Information

Becoming a member of the Greater Cincinnati Association of Health Underwriters means membership on the national, state, and local levels.  GCAHU is the local chapter of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU), and because our members are drawn from Southwestern Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Southeastern Indiana, they in turn have state membership either in Ohio, Kentucky, or Indiana.  Membership is coexistence, and to belong to one, you must belong to the other two.

Continuing Education: Our local association offers the highest quality education at the lowest prices anywhere. We work hard to offer you the education you need to keep your license current without breaking your budget.  The GCAHU Education Committee puts together and offers approximately 14 hours of Continuing Education each year.  All of these courses have been granted reciprocity with Kentucky  and we will continue this request.  With this concentration of CE approved monthly meetings and special programs, any member can meet their state qualification through this organization.

Networking: Making time to attend monthly local meetings will pay off in the long run. Meeting attendees often include carrier representatives, potential clients, and other healthcare professionals looking to do business with you.
